Welcome to another episode of Sauce Talk, a podcast about sports, the mind, and living well in general. Today’s podcast is an interview with J’nae Squires-Horton.

J’nae had great success as a college basketball player for Metro State University. She was twice named to the All-RMAC team, and helped lead Metro to the NCAA tournament as a Senior. After graduating J’nae was offered a contract to play professionally in Latvia. She’s now a Graduate Assistant Coach for the University of Colorado Springs.

In this episode we discuss the highs and lows of playing college basketball, the recruiting process, her decision to transfer, finding confidence, sharp shooting, going pro, retiring, advice for young athletes, and other topics.
